Emergency placement of a self-expandable covered stent for carotid artery injury during trans-sphenoidal surgery

A patient sustained internal carotid artery (ICA) injury during trans-sphenoidal surgery. Bleeding from the resultant pseudo-aneurysm was not fully controlled by surgical packing.
