The experiment was carried out to determine the genetic variability parameters, genotypic correlations, and Path-coefficients on seven traits of thirteen genotypes of Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench. Results showed that the 13 genotypes of sorghum exhibited a wide range of genetic variability for all seven characteristics under consideration. The phenotypic coefficient (If variation (PCV) was hjgher than genotypic coefficient of variation (GCV) for all traits. The highest PCV and GCV was obtained for dry weight of leaves. High heritability estimates coupled with high genetic advanec were observed for dry weight of leaves, plant height. and 100-grain weight, indicating these traits are controlled by additive gene action.
