Ekiken Kaibara, a scholar focused on Confucianism of the Fukuoka feudal clan, had left numerous books on the Fukuoka feudal clan. The texts which Ekiken worked on were about general history and topography. This research/article is focused on Ekiken\u27s texts on vassal corps. Through the analyzation of his texts, I have clarified Ekiken\u27s recognition of military power. Furthermore, I considered the influence of his thoughts on Japanese history. For this research, relations between the image of twenty four vassals and Ekiken\u27s recognition on military power had been examined. And I also examined people thoughts on samurai during this peaceful times
