物質合成部門の研究の現況The investigations which are in progress in the laboratory of Structure Design of Functional Molecules of the division of Syntheses of Functional Substances, are briefly surveyed. Titles of the investigations are as follows: photoresponsible materials, electronic function of π-conjugated molecules, metacyclophanes and their molecular recognition, functionalized heterocyclic dyes, biologically active molecules, selective preparation using a protective function, synthesis of polyaminoaromatics, and selective preparation of deuterium-labelled compounds
