The present paper contains description of a new species, Ochthebius (sstr.) yumiae Matsui et Delgado, from Japan, and a key to species of the genus Ochthebius Leach in Japan is given. The new species is similar to 0. dunjo, but distinguished by body size and color of the antennae and tibiae
