[EN] The increase of the population over the past decades in Valencia (Spain) has led to an overcrowding of the urban nucleus and to the expansion of its metropolitan region. The public transport network does not grow as fast as the urban area does, so connections between metropolitan municipalities are scarce and the use of the private vehicle is the only option. The objective of this work is to give continuity to the existing urban and suburban mobility plans published by the local authorities of Valencia by developing a statistical tool for the estimation of the demand of new public transport service.
