E-Tandem Valköln: cooperación lingüística hispano-germana

[EN] The present paper describes the guidelines of the project “E-Tandem-Projekt Valköln” between the Universitat Politècnica de València and the Language Learning Centre of Technische Hochschule Köln. The pilot experience took place in the academic year 2014/15 with Spanish-speaking undergraduates learning German at A1 level and German-speaking undergraduates learning Spanish at B1 level. The aim of the project was to improve the communicative skills of the foreign language (oral and written comprehension and expression) by means of interaction working in online tandem. In this way, active and cooperative online learning can be enhanced, providing authentic communicative situations in both target languages: German and Spanish. Written expression and comprehension were developed using a wiki and for the oral expression and comprehension Skype and videocasts were incorporated. Finally, Adobe Connect was used to allow both groups to meet in an online session. The results obtained indicate a positive perception on the part of the students and reveal aspects to be improved, highlighting the importance of including the project in the course for the academic year 2015/16.[ES] El presente trabajo describe las directrices del proyecto “E-Tandem-Projekt ValKöln” entre la Universitat Politècnica de València y el Centro de Lenguas de la Technische Hochschule Köln. La experiencia piloto tuvo lugar durante el curso 2014/15 con estudiantes hispano-hablantes que aprendían alemán en el nivel A1 y estudiantes germano-hablantes que aprendían español en el nivel B1. El objetivo del proyecto era mejorar las competencias comunicativas de la lengua extranjera (comprensión y expresión oral y escrita), mediante la interacción en tándem online. De esta forma, se pretendía enriquecer el aprendizaje activo y cooperativo online, proporcionando situaciones comunicativas auténticas en las lenguas meta: alemán y español. La expresión y comprensión escrita se trabajaron con apoyo de una wiki y para las actividades de expresión y comprensión oral se incorporaron Skype y videocasts. Para finalizar, se utizó Adobe Connect con el fin de reunir a los dos grupos en una sesión online. Los resultados obtenidos indican una percepción positiva por parte del alumnado y revelan aspectos a mejorar, destacando entre ellos la importancia de incluirlo como parte de la asignatura en el curso 2015/16.
