[EN] This Masters dissertation analyses the Social Video processes that Guatemalan indigenous association CEKUXÉ boosts in order to increase participation amongst youth. From an interpretationist approach, they use qualitative techniques (participant observation, interviews and audiovisual product analysis) to analyze the process. This analysis is understood within the frame of Communication for Development, participation theories and power relationships. As a conclusion, Social Video is indeed valid for youth participation processes, as far as the digital breach is franchised and audiovisual-wise capacitation is provided.
