[EN] The cardiac optical mapping is an established technique for the study of electrical and chemical dynamics of excitable tissues of the heart with high spatial and temporal resolution. This technique has many advantages; however, it presents an important disadvantage due to the motion of the heart with respect to registration system and/or excitation source. The goal of the present work is to carry out an analysis of the techniques and image processing methods in order to compensate and correct motion artifacts in cardiac optical mapping records.
