MANUAL OR DIGITAL. ANTHROPOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF ARCHITECTURAL DRAWING AND BUILDING MODELS

[EN] This article discusses some fundamental issues of pedagogy based on the creative use of hands: how to promote and enhance the basic creative skills, the heuristic, transformative and innovative ability of those members whose start to study architecture. We observe the hands as vital organs of perception, communication and transformation of cognitive and artificial environment. We analyze and compare in the learning of architectural designing and modeling, the manual and digital processes. We study the relationship that the drawing maintains with the body and its emotional states checking the conditions in which the body becomes the generator of architectural space as living space. Digital processes are, however, abstract coded processes, based mainly on visual communication.[ES] En este artículo tratamos algunas cuestiones fundamentales de una pedagogía basada en el uso creativo de las manos: cómo impulsar y potenciar las aptitudes creativas básicas, la capacidad heurística, transformadora e innovadora de esos miembros de los que comienzan a estudiar arquitectura. Observamos las manos como órganos vitales para la percepción, la comunicación y la transformación del entorno cognitivo y artificial. Analizamos y comparamos en los aprendizajes del dibujar y modelar para proyectar, procesos manuales y procesos digitales. Estudiamos la relación que mantiene el dibujar con el cuerpo, con sus estados emocionales comprobando las condiciones en que el cuerpo se convierte en generador del espacio arquitectónico como espacio para habitar. Los procesos digitales constituyen, sin embargo, procesos de abstracción codificados, basados fundamentalmente en la comunicación visual.Trachana, A. (2012). MANUAL O DIGITAL.
