<p>Malaria is hyper-endemic in Ghana, and remains one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality, especially in pregnant women and children under the age of five. The use of insecticide-treated nets is an effective intervention for malaria control; however, despite known evidence of its efficacy, there is still a low rate of implementation and usage. Considering the significant public health impact to be gained from proper use of ITNs, it is worthwhile to study factors that determine ownership of ITNs in Ghana.
