[EN] The variation in the vertical rigidity of the track produced between masonry and natural terrain generates an increase in vertical accelerations that affect the comfort of travelers, as well as the safety and maintenance of the track. The widespread solution to this problem is the execution of a transition wedge whose goal is to graduate the variation of rigidity. However, its execution has some associated issues that generate high maintenance costs. Therefore, the arrangement of elastic materials between the masonry and the ballast is studied as a possible solution in order to homogenize the vertical rigidity of the track.
