VoIP study

The voice digitalization and transmission improvement on data networks is developing a new market full expansion. This study is conscious of this fact and it focuses its efforts on the VoIP applications development, operations, features and voice transmission installation through IP networks. In this document the conventional telephonic network and the voice transmission through IP networks (VoIP) will be studied; in addition the voice transmission through IP networks (VoIP) implantation profits will be discussed. This study allows obtain knowledge about two voice transmission technologies and their implementations performance. Based on it, we will be able to reach a conclusion, deciding in which case which technology is the most suitable. This Special Assigment allows demonstrate the VoIP solutions are the better only in case that the company needs a moderate voice lines number because VoIP reduces the call cost but the necessary elements to implement a VoIP communication network are very expensive, that means, if the company only needs one voice line the VoIP network implementation is too expensive.Garcés Marco, M.
