Abstract

Consulta en la Biblioteca ETSI Industriales (8836)[eng]The ion exchange chromatography is the most widely used method for chromatographic protein purification. Two of these proteins that might be separated with this technique are Bovine from Serum Albumin and Myoglobin from Horse Squeletal Muscle. These two proteins have different relevance and different industrial applications. To study the possibility of separation of these proteins both together in the same solution, it has been used a continuous system with an ion-exchange column, a pump, a valve and a UV-sensor.
