Ryukyuan Dance Notation (4) : The Noatation of Man's Dance Nubui-kuduchi

"Nubui Kuduchi" was first performed almost 250 years ago. As a messenger from the Ryukyu kingdom, this character describes happenings during the travel and expresses his feelings on the way to Satsuma with brisk and powerful motion. This paper focuses on the natation of this dance. First, the movement of the body will be shown by the pictures. And after the brief discussion of the notation, it will be proposed that the combination of the picture-figure notation, fugo notation, and the symbols are appropriate to describe the dance in concern. The balance of this paper will concern the explanation of the dance, the songs and the way to dance
