Image analysis and time series analysis for MTSAT images covering East Asia region of channels (IR1 and IR3) are discussed. Power spectra of time series data are calculated by using Fourier transform and periodicities of peaks in autocorrelation function are explained. Scalograms are evaluated with continuous wavelet transform. Behaviors of orbits for time series data restructured with three dimensinal space of states are observed. Finally, the moving averages are caluculated by using time series data and its features for the curves of moving average are described
