Solar proton fluxes have been deduced from Al-26 depth profile resulting mainly from their interactions with Mg, Al and Si in lunar rocks. After correcting for lunar orientation, erosion and exposure age, as determined from the track density profile, the Al-26 profile is found to yield a flux which can be represented by (Js ,Ro )=(125,125). This value is also consistent with the Al-26 depth profile in lunar soil columns. The data also indicate that the solar proton flux has remained nearly constant during last few million years
