Situation Development in Syria The Council of the League of Arab States at Ministerial Level, - Having reviewed, The note submitted by the Secretariat General, The report of the Secretary-General on the activities of the Secretariat General between the two Sessions, The recommendation issued by the Second Meeting of the Committee on Implementation Follow-up of Resolutions and Obligations at Ministerial Level on 23rd July 2016 in Nouakchott, The recommendation issued by the First Meeting of the Committee on Implementation Follow-up of Resolutions and Obligations at Ministerial Level on 8th September 2016, The recommendation of the Political Affairs Committee, - Recalling Resolutions of the Council of the League of Arab States at Summit Level, particularly Resolution 554 issued by 23rd Ordinary Session in Baghdad on 29th March 2012, Resolution 580 by 24th Ordinary Session in Doha on 26th March 2013, Resolution 600 by 25th Ordinary Session in Kuwait on 26th March 2014, Resolution 623 by 26th Ordinary Session in Sharm El-Sheikh on 29th March 2015, Resolution 646 by 27th Ordinary Session in Nouakchott on 25th July 2016 and all the previous resolutions of the Council of the League of Arab States at Ministerial Level in this regard, most recently Resolution 8006 by 145th Ordinary Session on 11th March 2016, Resolution 8042 by the Extraordinary Session of the Council at Permanent Delegates Level on 4th May 2016 and Ministerial Committee statements on the situation in Syria, - Reaffirming its firm position regarding the preservation of Syria's unity, stability and territorial integrity, in accordance with the Charter of the League of Arab States and its principles, - Reiterating its full solidarity with the Syrian people over the serious violations they are subjected to threatening their existence and the lives of innocent citizens, - Reaffirming its full commitment to support Syrian people’s aspirations for freedom, justice and equality, their firm right to choose the regime which meets their aspirations in restoring peace and security across Syria, - Commending the efforts exerted by the International Support Group for Syria to create appropriate and conducive conditions to resume the negotiation process between the opposition and the Syrian government with an aim to formation of a transitional governing body with full executive power, according to the Geneva Conference (1) Communique issued on 30th June 2012, and the International Support Group for Syria Statement issued in Vienna on 30th October 2015 and14th November 2015 respectively, endorsed by Resolution 2254 of 2015, in addition to the Group’s Statement issued in Munich on 11th February 2016 endorsed by Resolution 2286 of 2016 and the Vienna Statement of 17th May 2016 that all aim to meeting the aspirations of the Syrian people with all their components and segments, - Reaffirming its firm position that the only possible solution to Syria crisis is the political solution achieved through a comprehensive political process that fulfill
