(p. 2) Add: I.B.I4 a. PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE BY-LAWf OF THE FACULTY UNIVERSITY ARCHIVES A. U. C. LIBRARY Whether or not a particular question may involve matters of policy shall be decided by the Chairman and shall be announced whenever possible in the written agenda for each meeting. b. The issue of questions not involving matters of policy shall be decided by an absolute majority of members present during voting on the questions. c. For voting in the first instance on questions involving matters of policy, a quorum shall be required which shall consist of an absolute majority of the total membership of the Faculty not on leave of absence. In this instance the issue of questions involving matters of policy shall be decided by a majority of not less than two thirds of the members present. d. In the absence of a quorum in the first instance, voting on questions involving matters of policy may be subsequently take place at a further extraordinary meeting to be convened by the Chairman with a weekss notice. At this extraordinary meeting no quorum shall be required and the issue of questions involving matters of policy shall be decided by a majority of not less than two thiras of the members present.
