The Committee shall advise the President on matters relating to faculty personnel policies and procedures of the University. Questions relating to proposed changes in faculty emoluments would fall within the purview of the Committee, but the Committee is not intended to act as a review board for individual cases. 4. The Committee may appoint such sub-committees as it deems necessary, consisting either in part or wholly of its own members. (Section I of The Appointment, Promotion and Tenure Committee would be changed to read as follows): 1. There shall be an Appointment, Promotion and Tenure Committee which shall be appointed by the President of the University, and which shall make recommendations relating to the appointment, promotion and tenure of individual faculty members. The Dean of the Faculties, Departmental chairmen, heads of Units, the University Librarian and the Chairman of the Faculty are commended to the President as members of the Committee.
