The meeting was opened with prayer by Dr. Cleland. 3538 - MINUTES: The minutes of the meeting of December 5, 1953 - #3529 to 3536 - were approved. 3539 - COMMITTEE AND DEPARTMENTAL MINUTES : approval: The following minutes were presented for ALUMNI COMMITTEE: Meeting of November 16, 1953 - #16 to 21 - approved. FINANCE COMMITTEE: Meetings of April 25, June 27, and Octo- ber 20, 1953 - #1176 to 1193 - approved. LIBRARY COMMITTEE: Meeting of November If., 1953 - #69 to 76 - approved. PROPERTY COMMITTEE: Meeting of September 9, 1953 - #1272 to 1288 - approved, the delayed items, Minutes 1260 and 1285, having been cleared by Council Minute 3532. DIVISION OP EXTENSION: Meeting of June 17, 1953 - #2llf to 217 - approved. In reference to Minute 217-(e), Mr. Vandersall questioned the statement referring to publishing a separate catalog for the Division of Extension. He noted that he had been instructed by Council some years ago to prepare a "University” catalog. It was observed that -there was in reality no conflict on this matter, as a University catalog would necessarily include the Division of Extension.
