General requirements for admission to the Graduate Fa.crlty are as followst 1. A Bachelor of Arts degree, or its equivalent, from a recognized institution of higher learning. 2. A "B" average in the undergraduate major and in any previous graduate work. 3. A knowledge of Enc:lish sufficient to unable the candidate to profit from lecture courses, to participate in seminars, and to write an acceptable thesis. 4. A satisfactory medical report. Registration must be in person and on the days scheduled in the University calendar. Registration is not complete until the tuition fees have been paid. Students desiring to enroll after the regular registration period can be given no assurance that they will be accepted. Late registration is permitted only for emergency reasons • Under no circumstance is a student permitted to register for credit after the first week of a semester.
