COMMITTEE ON RESOLUTIONS The Committee on Resolutions presented the following resolutions which were unanimously adopted: resolved THAT the Board of Trustees of The American University at Cairo, at the annual meeting held in New York City on October 16, 1942 extend to Vice President Henry C. Wallace the expression of its profound appreciation of his kind cooperation and interest in the matter of the return to Egypt of members of the Faculty and of the University to resume their duties there at the earliest possible date. The Board recalls with deep appreciation the cordial and efficient participation in the service of the University on the part of the esteemed Father and Grandfather of the Vice President in the found-ing of the University, and values this recent evidence of his own goodwill and the endorsement of the service of the University in these days of world conflict. Resolved THAT the Executive Secretary be directed to convey the above resolution to the Vice President, with the assurance of the best wishes of the Board.
