receive no benefits from the pension fund, unless they have personally made annual contributions to the fund. A per-manent faculty man, therefore, is entitled to nothing except as he completes his active service with the University and reaches the retirement age.) THAT the University should pay dental allowances consisting of two-thirds of dental bills for all members of a family, provided the total amount for a family does not exceed $50 in any given year. The foregoing will become effective July 1, 1937. THAT the present resolution regarding children's allowances for tuition shall continue without change. THAT Mr. Robert R. Carson of Geneva, N. Y., be appointed a short term teacher of English in the American University at Cairo for a period of three years, commencing with September 1936, with the usual salary and allowances. THAT Mr. Peter C. Wright, a graduate of Dartmouth College in 1936, be appointed a short term teacher of English and History in the American University at Cairo, for a period of one year commencing with September 1936, with the understanding that the University is to provide board and room throughout the college year 1936-37; salary, travel and other expenses are to be cared for by Mr. Wright. Yhile English and History are the subjects designated, it may be necessary for Mr. Wright to teach sub j e ct s other than those listed. Mr. Wright will be subject to the same rules and regulations as those for the regularly appointed short term teachers of the University. THAT Mr. Walter L. Campbell, a graduate of Wooster College in 1936, be appointed a short term teacher of Physical Education in the American University at Cairo for a period of three years, commencing with September 1936, with theusual salary and allowances. Conn of Champaign, Illinois, be appointed Assistant Bursar of the American University at Cairo for a period of two years, commencing with September 1936, with the usual salary and allowances.
