Les rétinopathies pigmentaires sont la première cause de dégénérescence rétinienne héréditaire, affectant 1,5 millions de personnes dans le monde. A ce jour, aucun traitement n’est disponible dans la majorité de ces pathologies. Basé sur une étude antérieure, le projet vise au développement d’un traitement dans certaines d’entre elles. L’approche testée cible une voie activée dans plusieurs de ces atteintes ; l’Unfolded Protein Response (UPR), mécanisme de réponse au stress activée en particulier an cas de surcharge protéique.
