The rotor-bladed systems are commonly used in industrial applications, such as in turbines, ventilators, and compressors. One interesting way to understand their dynamic behavior and characteristics is to work with representative mathematical models. Therefore, this work aims to study the mathematical model of a system in which the rotor, considered as rigid, is coupled with four flexible rotating blades. The equations of motion are derived using Lagrange dynamics, resulting in time dependent and periodic matrices. Thus, the model can be considered as linear time variant.
