Interview conducted at The Ohio State University Archives, Columbus, Ohio.Hazel Morrow-Jones describes her experience as a graduate student at The Ohio State University from 1974 to 1980. Over these years, she pursued and received a Master's degree and a Ph.D., both in Geography. Morrow-Jones discusses her family background, her undergraduate education in Geography and Anthropology at Macalester College in Minnesota, and her decision to pursue a graduate education at Ohio State. She describes her experience as a female graduate student at OSU during a time in which the gender demographics in academia were shifting so more females were becoming tenure-track faculty
