Lebanon. Self with two friend Major Savage centre & Major Riddell. Two great chaps. Major Savage is a friend from Kosciusko [i.e. Kosciuszko]. We were all at the Cedars together. I set the camera & pulled the string off with my foot"--In ink and pencil on verso; "L. to R.
