Some pastoral stations indicate their proprietor, some inns, and gold fields are shown in colour. In Victoria district boundaries are shown (but not in New South Wales) while boundaries of County Court districts are coloured blue and the district itself numbered (14 in total) and referenced from a table at the bottom of the sheet, while boundaries of electoral districts are coloured in pink. Information for New South Wales is much more limited.
