A serious factional brawl in the Federal Labor Government has broken out over factional boss Graham Richardson's resignation and replacement in the Cabinet. In normal circumstances, Richardson, NSW Right factional supremo, would be expected to dictate the process, but, shock horror, by prior agreement, the vacancy is to go to the Left - and that possibly means Jeanette McHugh who not only has seen her own seat go in a redistribution, but who has also put her hand up for the Sydney seat of Grayndler held by NSW Right foot-soldier Leo Macleay.--Information provided by Geoff Pryor
