There is a challenge for Thai mental health nurses to provide recovery-oriented mental health care for people living with schizophrenia. This study aimed to seek a comprehensive view of Thai mental health nurses’ understanding and nursing practices in relation to recovery from schizophrenia. It also sought to determine whether nurses’ perceptions and practices regarding recovery from schizophrenia were consistent with a recovery model.
