Abstract&¿In this letter we derive the exact random codingerror exponent of a dual hop amplify and forward (AF) relaynetwork with channel state information (CSI) assisted ideal relaygain. Numerical results have been presented, which provide insightabout the performance tradeoff between the error exponentand the data rate of the network.
