The search for alternative solutions to the use of composites wholly or partly derived from renewable resources represents a major environmental challenge and a lever for economic development for future generations. The present study considers the choice of a bio-based composite made from flax fibers associated with a thermoplastic resin. The objective of the research is to analyze the overall mechanical behavior, to identify the main observed physical phenomena, then to analyze their associated mechanisms. An experimental analysis of the mechanical behavior in static and fatigue of unidirectional and cross laminate composites is presented.
