Soil liquefaction has caused and is still at the origin of significant damage to infrastructure and construction building. Therefore, this phenomenon has been a topic of many studies in recent decades. However, some results remain controversial and insufficient, in particular the influence of fine particles on liquefaction as well as methods of improving soils subject to liquefaction.
