The study of continental surfaces is a major global challenge for the monitoring and management of territories, particularly in terms of the distribution between urban expansion, agricultural land and natural areas. In this context, land cover maps characterizing the biophysical cover of land are an essential asset for the analysis of continental surfaces. Supervised classification algorithms allow, from annual time series of satellite images and reference data, to automatically produce the map of the corresponding period.
