In physiology, postural and ventilatory functions are tightly linked. Some clinical postural dysfunctions have been described in chronic respiratory pathologies. These postural dysfunctions could stem from a degradation of posturo-ventilatory interaction, but their physiopathological mechanisms are still unclear. The main objective of the thesis project was to describe and model this coupling between postural and ventilatory functions, in healthy subjects and in patient with OSAS (obstructive sleep apnea syndrome).
