In the context of the Internet of Things and the industrial revolution 4.0, new technologies are expected to offer solutions in several industrial related problems. The RFID technology and its evolution to a sensing solution is very promising and could potentially find application in the industrial environment. The work of this thesis was carried out in the context of Innov’Hydro project with the participation of several academic and industrial partners.
