A system is considered, which is deteriorating over time according to a nonhomogeneous gamma process with unknown parameters. The system is subject to periodic andinstantaneous imperfect maintenance actions. Three imperfect repair models are studied. Regardingthe first one, a maintenance action removes a proportionρof the degradation accumulated by thesystem since the last maintenance action (with ρ∈[0,1) ). Similarly, for the second model, amaintenance action reduces the degradation accumulated by the system, but from the initial time t=0.
