The manufacturing industry is considered as one of the most important economic sectors in developed countries. This is because manufactured materials are used by every other industry, directly stimulating economic growth and improvements in our standard of living. However, Australia's manufacturing industry has lost over 100 000 jobs in the last 15 years.
