Babywijzer: an application to support women during their pregnancy

Mobile health (mHealth) provides a new way to bridge the communication gap between patients and their primary health care providers. This study investigates how a mobile application can support Dutch pregnant women. A prototype, called Babywijzer, was designed to support pregnant women's needs. Babywijzer is a mobile intervention, which enables pregnant women to search directly for an answer to their pregnancy related questions and follow current evidence based recommendations.
