Personal and professional development and maximising organisational returns from training investment continues to be a significant issue for managers globally. The objectives of this study were to explore overarching learning transfer barriers as moderating factors influencing learning transfer and identify a simplified methodology and process for investigating learning transfer issues within organisations. Research findings highlighted ninety percent of employees interviewed experienced low learning support and accountability for their learning transfer both from their organisation and their manager.
