The deconvolution problem is to design a deconvolution filter to reconstruct a signal from the measurement output of a signal transmission channel. In this paper, we consider the deconvolution problem for periodic signal transmission channels under the H∞ performance specification. A solution for this problem is given in terms of linear matrix inequalities. An advantage of the linear matrix inequality solution is in its computational efficiency using standard software. The H∞ formulation of the deconvolution problem also accounts for the channel modeling uncertainties to provide a solution for robust deconvolution
