Due to brittle nature of advanced ceramics surface damage, cracks, and edge chips are common problems when machining them by using conventional methods. Selection of proper cutting parameters and cutting tool may help to minimize the above mentioned problems. Cutting process of Machinable glass ceramics in end milling operation has been carried out using two flute square end micro-grain solid carbide end mills under dry conditions.
