Developments in ebook reader technologies have made ebooks a visible and somewhat accepted alternative to print books. Despite this visibility, there are a number of aspects of ebooks and ebook reading that are ripe for investigation from a user perspective, including (but not limited to) ebook reader usability, book reading on small screens, how users seek and find ebooks, and the reading experience provided by different technologies. As this is a relatively new area of research, this workshop aims to bring together researchers interested in ebooks and ebook technologies with a view to fostering future research collaboration
