Aplikasi Kartu Magnetik Absensi Karyawan Menggunakan Personal Computer dan Bahasa Pemrograman

The use of computers has been widely applied in various agencies. If at first the computer was only created as a tool in the field of data processing, now it is not the case. Computers can be applied with a variety of tools to create a system. This study discusses the application of computers with magnetic cards as an employee attendance system in a company. This attendance system using magnetic cards is expected to be easier to do than manual attendance. In this system, taking absences is only done by swiping the magnetic card into the reader. Then the data input will be sent to the personal computer via the parallel port as the interface. Data will be read and processed by the program module that has been designed. Furthermore, data absent from employees will be stored in the database. This system can be used as an employee attendance system in a company. Using the attendance system designed in this study can provide better results when compared to absent manually, where the accuracy of absentee time can be trusted
