Borderline Personality Disorder is a complex and perplexing psychiatric disorder. Because the behaviours displayed by individuals with a diagnosis of Borderline Personality Disorder demand a lot of attention from mental health professionals there has been much interest recently in the aetiology of Borderline Personality Disorder.
