We demonstrate the reconstruction of images that severely distorted by the multiple scattering effect in microscopic imaging through tissue-like turbid media. The reconstruction theorem is based on the concept of the effective point spread function (EPSF) and expectation-maximisation (EM) algorithm. The EPSF is simulated using the Monte Carlo method. The reconstructed images show a significant improvement in resolution, even when the noise factor is taken into consideration
