Can the latest brain imaging tools tell us more about how the human brain works? Can they tell us where personality resides? Can we measure the various aspects of personality and the emotions? Researchers at the Brain Sciences Institute are attempting to answer these questions, while also investigating the effects traumatic abuse has on the developing personality. Various neuroimaging techniques (such as MRI, PET, fMRI and EEG mapping), and current research findings will be discussed
