Dr. Robert J. Kegerreis interview (5) conducted on April 23, 1985 about the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University

This is the fifth in a series of interviews with the President of Wright State University, Dr. Robert J. Kegerreis. This interview focuses on the priorities of School of Medicine development; perceptions of Dean Beljan; the School of Nursing controversy; and the appointment of Dr. Beljan as Vice President for Health Affairs and then University Provost. Dr. Kegerreis first discusses the recruiting of department chairs; the building of the Medical Sciences building; the hospital affiliations; and recruitment of volunteer clinical faculty. President Kegerreis then analyzes how Dr. Beljan was perceived at the state level, by the community, and the University.
