April 21, Women�s Day Services

This is a Woman�s Day program that opens with singing and welcoming of visiting church members, followed by enthusiastic singing and dancing. A woman says a prayer and reads from Kings, Chronicles, and John. She says that women should be peacemakers to be God�s women. She outlines the qualities of a good worker for God and warns about sinning.The Atlanta University Center Robert W. Woodruff Library acknowledges the generous support of the National Endowment for Humanities - Humanities Collections and Reference Resources Implementation Project Grant in supporting the processing and digitization of a number of its major archival collections as part of the project: Spreading the Word: Expanding Access to African American Religious Archival Collections at the Atlanta University Center Robert W. Woodruff Library.
